Dr. Natanya Padachey
Dr. Padachey completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Neurobiology) at McGill University, Montreal before being accepted to the University of Toronto and receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She was selected from dental school to complete a dental residency program at the Hospital for Sick Children and it was here that her passion for Endodontics started. She practiced as a general dentist for four years before graduating from the post-graduate specialty program in Endodontics from the University of Toronto and has never looked back. She has published research which received an award from the American Association of Endodontists. After graduation as a specialist, she moved to Victoria BC and started and grew a thriving practice focussed on high-quality care using the latest technologies and modern advances in endodontics. She has been engaged as a full-time endodontist and practice owner for over 20 years. In 2024, she was happy to embrace the change and made the move to join husband in Vancouver. She is a highly-skilled practitioner and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in patient-centered care.
Dr. Padachey is involved in higher education as Clinical Assistant Professor in the post-graduate specialty program at the University of British Columbia. Her passion for endodontics extends to include community involvement through her study clubs and conference planning in adventure locations. She is also active in continuing dental education both lecturing and providing clinical education to post-graduate residents, dentists, and endodontists in North America and internationally.
Dr. Padachey is originally from Toronto and in her younger years she represented Canada in international competition as a rhythmic gymnast. She nowadays enjoys being active with her friends and family pursuing her interests in cycling, yoga, skiing, food & wine.
Dr. Padachey is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, member of the American Association of Endodontists, the BC Society of Endodontics, and the Victoria & District Dental Society where she served on the Executive committee for 8 years. She is a member and proud past President (2018) of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics
