Dr. Neda Mousavi
Dr. Neda Mousavi was raised in the state of New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University and received a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 1998. She continued on to Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine where she received her DDS degree in 2002. She went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency in New York City’s Mt. Sinai Hospital where she grained experience dealing with dental emergencies and medically compromised patients. After her formal training in general dentistry was completed, she worked in private practice in mid-town Manhattan. She also held a part-time position in Columbia University’s Faculty Practice. Along with her clinical practice, she also held a part time teaching position at Columbia University, where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Restorative Dentistry Department. After five years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Mousavi decided to return for formal training in Endodontics. She received her Certificate in Endodontics in 2009 from Columbia University.
Dr. Mousavi is a Board Certified Specialist in Endodontics and moved to British Columbia in 2010 with her husband. She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Canadian Association of Endodontics, the British Columbia Society of Endodontists, College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Mousavi has two young boys and enjoys spending as much time as possible with them. She enjoys reading in her spare time and loves to travel.
